1955 Fender Left Handed Stratocaster Sunburst

1955 Fender LEFT-HANDED Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the exception of the tremolo arm and 4 of the grommets for the pickups. The original tweed hardshell case is included. The back of the neck has been oversprayed, but that is the only area with non-original finish. The back panel for the tremolo cavity has 6 additional holes for string access. This rare early version of a left-handed Strat looks great with nicks + dings, belt buckle wear and other cosmetic wear including impressions in the finish where a guitar cable was laying against the surface while stored in the case. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The solder has been redone on the back of the volume pot and at one lead on the switch where one white pickup wire connects. All electronics work and sound great. The middle pickup has likely been rewound. All pickups have good readings: NECK-6.28, MIDDLE-6.16, BRIDGE-6.24. The guitar weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz.
