1970's Silvertone 1490 short-scale Bass Sunburst MIJ
'60's/early '70's made in Japan Silvertone model 1490 short-scale (29.5" scale length) bass in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the exception of an added ground wire at the tailpiece and a couple of screws. The bottom corner of the pickguard has been sectioned with additional screws to hold down the section of the pickguard that is now exclusive to the jack. The thumbrest is missing. The pictured soft-shell case is included. This vintage Silvertone looks great with some minor nicks + dings and other cosmetic wear. All electronics work and sound great.
