1966 Fender Electric XII Sunburst
1966 Fender Electric XII in Sunburst. The black along the outer edge of the Sunburst finish was poorly painted over while all the parts were left on the guitar as you will notice black paint on some edges of those parts. It appears that the surface of the original finish was sanded or buffed around the edges on the top and back of the body and the entire body was sprayed with a clear coat after the newer black coat was applied. It has a good playing neck with good frets. The parts are all original with the exception of a Starr Guitar Systems wiring harness in the control cavity. An additional previously installed after-market wiring harness is included. There are nicks + dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear. The finish has been sanding off the back of the neck to give a nice smooth feel. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great. The pictured vintage hardshell case is included.
