1950's Rickenbacker model B bakelite 6-string lap steel guitar with its original horseshoe pickup. The tuning keys and knobs have been changed. One pot is a new Noble 500K while the other is a CTS dating to 1959. Inside the control cavity, the portion of the bakelite mold with the screw hole on the lower side has a tiny chip out of the side which required a longer screw to properly hold the cover plate down. The original screw is also included. The original hardshell case is also included. This Rickenbacker steel looks good with some nicks + dings and other cosmetic wear as it remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great. It includes a letter dating to 1987 from Doc Kauffman to the original owner of this guitar.
