1955 Fender Precision Bass refinished Blonde
1955 Fender Precision Bass with a neck that has been refinished long ago and a body that has been refinished and aged more recently by Jay Black. Prior to that, it had been refinished in red which was removed before this professional refinish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It is very nice and lightweight at only 7 lbs. 9.4 oz without the covers! All parts remain original, but the original pickup has been professionally rewound by Lindy Fralin. There are nicks + dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear. The top of the pickguard had been previously repainted, but the paint was removed, which left scratches all over the pickguard. The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great. A newer hardshell case is included.
