1956 Gretsch Silver Jet 6129
Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1956 Gretsch model 6129 Silver Jet in its original finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets as it has been re-fretted and had a neck reset. It's all original with the exception of the nut and the frets. It is also 100% complete along with its original tweed hardshell case. This Silver Jet looks great with nicks + dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear including the missing top corner of the pickguard which broke off. Underneath the cover for the master volume cavity there are two additional screw holes which the cover had been repositioned. The truss rod nut is chewed up a bit and requires a special adjustment tool. Luckily, it is not in need of a truss rod adjustment. The guitar itself remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great, but the volume control for the neck position pickup doesn't turn the volume down completely.
