1957 Fender Telecaster Red Refinish

1957 Fender Telecaster with a refinished neck and a poorly refinished body. It has a great playing neck with good frets as it has been refretted. Changed parts include the tuning keys, switch, one capacitor (one is missing), the nut and some of the screws. The original pickugard has been oversprayed and has a crack through one corner. The neck position pickup has some traces of blue on the underside and on the original wires which have been extended. The bridge position pickup has been rewound. All electronics work and sound great. The tone pot sounds a little dirty when it's turned all the way down. The lower screw for the control cavity does not have enough wood on the edge of the cavity to firmly grab, so it is rather loose. There are lots of nicks + dings, finish cracks and other cosmetic wear. The guitar itself remains structurally sound. The weight is 7 lbs. 3.4 oz. The original tweed hardshell case is included, but it is in poor condition with patched areas, one broken latch and the side pocket and neck rest was replaced with one from a later 1960's Fender case.
