1960 Fender Left-Handed Stratocaster with '57 neck Black

Original Fender left-handed Stratocaster with its factory assembly being completed in 1961. The maple neck dates to 1957 with a "V" neck profile and is marked as a factory refinished neck dated "2-61 REF." The body was assembled in 1960 with its original Custom Color Black finish with factory ordered Gold hardware. The neck also has all gold hardware including the truss rod nut. We believe that this body was originally paired with this factory refinished neck in 1961 by Fender. The serial number also dates to 1960. It has a good playing neck with good frets. All parts are original and it is 100% complete along with its 1957 tweed left-handed case with metal "Fender" emblem(one broken hinge), gold tremolo arm, gold bridge cover, Fender polish cloth, Fender strings box, cable, Fender strap, key to the case with Fender pouch, "Why Fender" fold-out brochure, instruction manual and original hang tag with the matching serial number and original bridge saddle adjustment wrench still taped to the inside. The gold tuning keys are a transition set with 4 Patent # keys and 2 Patent Applied keys. This rare Strat looks great with nicks + dings (some have been touched-up), finish checking and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great while all solder joints remain original and untampered with. All pickups have good readings: NECK-6.34/MIDDLE-6.85/BRIDGE-6.58. The weight is 7 lbs. 9.8 oz.
