1960's Epiphone Sorrento E452TD that was originally built in 1961 and was re-necked and re-finished in the mid '60s with a neck that would have been used for a Century or Granada. The original serial number was stamped into the new neck and it was fitted with this set of Grover V-100 Slimline tuning keys. The neck position pickup is a PAF with unbroken solder on the cover while the bridge position pickup has a Patent # sticker and broken solder on the cover. The bridge was replaced with a Patent # tune-o-matic bridge which has had the bottom edge filed down to allow more clearance. It has a great playing neck with great frets. This Sorrento looks great with some nicks + dings and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great. An original 1960's Gibson hardshell case is included.
