1963 Guild F-50 Navarre Cherry Sunburst
1963 Guild F-50 Navarre jumbo flattop acoustic with an arched back in its original Cherry Sunburst finish. The neck is highly figured flame maple along with the back and sides of the body. It has a great playing neck with great frets as it has been re-fretted. There is one crack in the top of the body from pickguard shrinkage and a cleat has been glued on the underside of the top to secure it. The top edge of the heel has had two strap button screw holes filled and the finish oversprayed and touched-up around the heel area. There are nicks + dings, scratches, some binding shrinkage and other cosmetic wear including the finish naturally worn off the back of the neck to provides a nice smooth feel. There are many small spots that have been touched-up and and area between the bridge and pickguard where the wood was worn down from play wear and filled in. The guitar itself remains structurally sound. The pictured hardshell case is included.
