1964 Gibson Melody Maker D in sunburst. It has a great playing C-shaped neck, that is .845" at the 1st fret, and 1.050" at the 12th. The original frets still have a good amount of life left. The pickups are original and sound great, but there have been several changes made to this guitar, which include a changed capacitor, along with some changed wiring, the tailpiece (it is a chrome late '60's with changed adjustment screws), pickguard screws, along with some extra holes in the pickguard, the switch tip, nut, knobs, strap buttons, truss rod cover screws, and tuning key screws. The tuning keys are original, but the D and G tuners are slightly bent, but still function well. The body underneath the pickguard has chipped in a couple of places, hence the extra holes in the pickguard. Everything functions well and properly. There have been no cracks, breaks, repairs. Comes with a non-original vintage chipboard case.
