1981 Fender Jazz Bass International Series Arctic White
1981 Fender Jazz Bass from the International Series in its original Arctic White finish. The color has yellowed quite a bit. It has the original white pickguard and black pickguard screws that were exclusive to this series. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the only exception being the two screws for the bridge cover. It is also 100% complete with the exception of the chrome pickup cover. The original hardshell case is included. This Jazz Bass looks good with some nicks + dings and other cosmetic wear. The fabric lining the case had begun bonding with the finish on the back of the body at some point in time, leaving impressions in the finish and some particles of the fabric bonded to the finish around the neck plate where there is also some rust on the screws. The chrome bridge cover also has some surface rust. There is also some finish cracking along the bass side seam of the "skunk stripe" on the back of the neck, running from the top of the stripe down to the 4th fret area. The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great.
