SOLD - 1969 Fender Stratocaster Neck on '62 Reissue MIJ Body Copper Metallic
Fender Stratocaster which is a 1969 Fender Strat neck on a Made in Japan Fender Copper Metallic ST-62AS/H body loaded with all of the original electronics and parts that came on a 40th Anniversary 1994 MIJ Stratocaster. The neck plate is an original 1969 neck plate, and the tuners are original late '60's as well. The neck is nice and straight and this guitar plays great with nice low action. It has been refretted with jumbo style frets, and the neck has been oversprayed. The nut is new. There are 3 plugged/filled holes above the nut where it seems to have had a locking nut mechanism on it in the past. All electronics work properly, and the pickups sound good. Comes with a newer Fender tweed case and newer tremolo arm. Weighs 7 lbs 14 oz.
