1966 Gibson Melody Maker in its original Pelham Blue finish. It has a good playing neck with good frets as it has been re-fretted. The string height is a little high on the bass side with the original tailpiece being down all the way. The compensated saddles have not had deeper grooves filed into them, which would help bring the string height to a more desirable position. Replacing the tailpiece with one that rests lower would also help without having to modify anything original on the guitar. It's all original with the exception of the truss rod cover, frets and some screws. It's missing the vibrato portion of the tailpiece as it is using only the original wraparound tailpiece. The pictured hardshell case is included. There are lots of nicks + dings, finish cracks, finish chipping off in several places and other cosmetic wear. The area around the jack and knobs has been oversprayed on the top of the guitar. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great.
